Junior Explorers Program

For young men and women ages 14 through 17, interested or curious about firefighting, EMS or public safety.
- Get real exposure to fire service before committing as an adult.
- Learn how gear works, how calls are handled, how scenes are run — without being put in dangerous situations.
- Learn fire science basics, first aid/CPR, and EMS fundamentals.
- Great head start (fast-track) for anyone interested in firefighting/EMS.
- Huge returns compared to sports or private programs.
- Looks excellent on applications, resumes and scholarship essays.
- Please Note: you will not be running into burning buildings.
- You will not be replacing trained firefighters.
- Safety and age-appropriate limits are taken very seriously.
Non-Emergency Auxiliary Member

Get more involved in Your Community — provide crucial support without the stress!
- Meaningful and impactful service without emergency response.
- Ideal for students, parents, professionals, retirees — or anyone interested in making a difference.
- Fun networking and mentorship opportunities, working alongside firefighters, EMTs, officers and civic leaders.
- Foster community connections, while helping with fundraisers, parades and open houses.
- Help with outreach & public education: fire prevention programs at schools, station tours and firetruck visits.
- Participate in administrative, logistics, IT, communications and event planning.
- Station & equipment support; cleaning/organizing firehouse, washing trucks, inventory gear, preparing rehab supplies, etc.
- Peer support and wellness initiatives: help with meals during long incidents, scene support, etc
