The Main-Transit Fire Department currently has a membership of 100 volunteers who live in your neighborhood, attend church with you, attend school with your children and may even work within your community. Our volunteers are “on call” for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are proud to be your neighborhood Fire Department, and we appreciate all the support we can get. Our costs continue to rise and we really depend on your donations to help defray the costs not covered by your town fire tax.
